The Battenburg is a solar powered outdoor wall light with a built in PIR motion sensor, in black ABS and polycarbonate, a self contained security light for entrances, garages and garden walls.

How It Works
Powered by a 1.2W integrated LED, not replaceable, giving 120 lumens of warm white 3000K light, with a built in PIR motion sensor. It isn't dimmable. It's Class III, meaning it runs on safety extra low voltage from its solar cell, so there's no earth connection needed and no electrician required to fit it.

Does this light need to be wired into the mains?
No. It's a Class III fitting that runs on safety extra low voltage from its own solar cell, so there's no earth connection needed and no electrician required to install it.
How bright is it and can I dim it?
It gives out 120 lumens of warm white 3000K light from a 1.2W integrated LED. It isn't dimmable.
How does the PIR motion sensor work?
The built in PIR sensor detects nearby movement and switches the light on automatically, then off again after a short period, so it works as an automatic security light.
Can I fit it somewhere exposed to rain?
It's rated IP44, which means it's fine in sheltered outdoor spots such as under a porch, canopy or eave, but it isn't designed for direct, prolonged exposure to driving rain.
Can the LED be replaced if it stops working?
No, the LED is integrated and not user replaceable. It's covered by a 5 year warranty, so any failure within that period is handled under warranty rather than a bulb swap.
