Searchlight Ashdale Table Lamp - Black & Chrome Metal & Black Glass Shade

The Ashdale is a table lamp with a black and chrome metal base and a black glass shade, giving a contemporary look suited to a desk or office console table.

Materials and finish

The base is mild steel finished in black and chrome, paired with a black glass shade.

How it works

It takes one E14 golf ball LED bulb up to 10W (not supplied), controlled by a black inline switch positioned 0.28m from the cable exit. It isn't dimmable. It's wired to Class II, so it's double insulated and doesn't need an earth connection. As a plug in lamp, there's no hardwiring involved, just plug it in and use the inline switch to turn it on and off.

Where it works best

Suited to a home office or study, the Ashdale works well as a desk lamp beside a laptop or on a console table where task lighting is needed.
