A Sculptural Take on the Classic Chandelier

The Ascona 5 light pendant takes the traditional multi arm chandelier and gives it a cleaner, more architectural silhouette. Slender curved arms sweep outward from a tall central column, crossing and re crossing before settling into five candle style lamp holders. It is a fitting that reads as a chandelier without any of the fuss, right at home in a dining room, living room or bedroom that wants a bit of presence overhead.

Satin Brass Finish

Every arm and fitting is finished in a warm satin brass, a soft, low sheen gold tone that catches the light without looking polished or shiny. Each of the five lamp holders sits on a small faceted crystal glass disc, adding a touch of sparkle where the light meets the metal. The brass pairs naturally with black, cream or deep green interiors, and works equally well in a period property or a newer build looking for a warmer, more traditional light fitting.

How It Works

• Takes 5 x candle bulbs, around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) each, E14 fitting (bulbs not supplied)
• Dimmable when used with compatible LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch
• Height adjustable at the point of installation, hanging from a chain up to 120cm, with an arm span of 62cm
• Supplied with a ceiling rose and chain for ceiling mounting
• Should be installed by a qualified electrician

Is the Ascona 5 light pendant dimmable?
Yes. It works with a dimmer switch as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs, since the fitting itself does not include dimming electronics.

Can I adjust how low it hangs?
Yes. The chain is adjustable at installation, so the pendant can be set anywhere up to its maximum drop of around 120cm to suit your ceiling height.

What bulbs does it need?
It takes 5 candle shaped E14 bulbs, ideally around 6W LED as a 60W incandescent equivalent. Bulbs are not included.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. It has an IP20 rating, which means it is designed for dry indoor rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, not bathrooms.
