The American Diner flush light brings the same domed, ribbed glass look as the pendant version, but sits close to the ceiling for rooms where a hanging fitting is not practical. It gives an even, glare free light from a compact, low profile fitting.

Satin Silver and Acid Glass

The ceiling plate and trim are finished in satin silver, paired with a dome shade in ribbed acid glass, an opal white glass with a fine fluted texture that diffuses the light rather than showing the bulbs directly. It is a clean, slightly retro look that suits kitchens, bathrooms and hallways alike.

How It Works

• Takes 2 x candle bulbs, around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) each, E14 fitting (bulbs not supplied)
• Dimmable when used with compatible LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch
• Fixed flush fitting, 15cm high and 29cm in diameter
• Fixes directly to the ceiling, with no chain or adjustable drop
• Should be installed by a qualified electrician

As this fitting is rated IP44, it is suitable for use in a bathroom, including areas covered by the bathroom lighting zones guidance, so long as it is fitted in line with the relevant zone.

Can this light go in a bathroom?
Yes. It has an IP44 rating, which makes it suitable for bathroom use provided it is fitted in the correct lighting zone.

What bulbs does it take?
It takes 2 candle shaped E14 bulbs, ideally around 6W LED as a 60W incandescent equivalent. Bulbs are not included.

Can the drop be adjusted like the pendant version?
No. This is a flush fitting that sits directly against the ceiling at a fixed 15cm height, unlike the adjustable American Diner pendant.

Is it dimmable?
Yes, as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs and use it with a compatible dimmer switch.
