The Searchlight Acton is an outdoor up wall light designed as a lantern style fixture, built to bring a classic silhouette to porches, entrances and exterior walls. Its upward facing light spread makes it a good outdoor wall lantern for casting a soft glow up a wall surface rather than down onto a path.
Materials and finish
The Acton is made from aluminium in a black finish, giving it a hard wearing, weather ready construction suited to life outdoors.
How it works
It takes a single E27 bulb, which is not included, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits your porch or entrance. The fixture is not dimmable and is fixed in position rather than adjustable. It's rated Class I, which means it needs to be earthed and connected by a qualified electrician as part of a proper mains installation.
Where it works best
With an IP44 rating, the Acton is built for outdoor use, making it a practical choice as a porch light or exterior wall lantern where it will be exposed to the weather.
