Eighteen Globes, One Continuous Circle
Rather than hanging from a single point, the Zodiac 18 spreads its light across a full ring. Eighteen brass arms extend outward from a central hub, each carrying one glass globe, so the whole fixture forms a wide circle suspended just below the ceiling. Schwung describes the way the globes catch light from different angles as a carousel effect, and in Marble glass that effect is at its most pronounced, since no two globes in the ring share quite the same pattern of veining.
In Marble Glass
Marble is Schwung's most textured glass, mouth blown with a milky internal pattern that runs through the glass rather than sitting on its surface. Across eighteen globes arranged in a ring, the effect multiplies. Each globe glows with its own faint variation, so the fitting as a whole has more visual depth than a single pendant ever could, without losing the soft, layered quality that makes Marble glass sit comfortably in a room rather than dominate it.

How It Works
Every arm of the ring holds a 5W E14 LED bulb, included, and the fitting runs on a 230V supply. It dims only with electronic (trailing edge) dimmers, standard leading edge dimmers are not compatible. The IP20 rating means it's built for dry indoor spaces, not bathrooms. The ring measures 131.4cm across and hangs with a minimum drop of 62.4cm, with extension rods supplied so it can be lowered further where ceilings allow.

The Zodiac 18 in Marble glass suits rooms with the scale and ceiling height to let a full circle of light hang clear, a large dining room, a stairwell, or an entrance hall where it can be viewed from more than one angle. Because the veining in the glass reads differently depending on where you're standing, it rewards a room where people move around and beneath it, rather than one viewed from a single fixed seat.
Made by Schwung
Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Every fitting is made to order in solid brass and mouth blown glass at the Namyslow workshop, and the Marble finish depends on that hand blowing process, since the veined pattern can't be produced consistently by machine. According to Schwung, the Zodiac's ring of globes is built to give a different view from every angle in the room.
