Schwung Pulsar 250mm Wall Sconce Light

The Pulsar 250mm is the largest of the three Pulsar sizes and the one that makes the boldest statement. A single hand blown glass globe at 250mm across sits in a minimal solid brass mount, with all the quality concentrated in the materials and the making rather than in any decorative addition. It is available in opal matte glass, marble matte glass and Dries Ribbon glass, with a frame in Lacquered Burnished Brass, Polished Nickel or Black Gunmetal. The marble matte version carries a swirling veined effect within the frosted glass that is uniquely patterned in every piece, while the Dries Ribbon glass brings a more textural, ribbon like quality to the surface.

At 250mm the globe produces a broader, more ambient spread of warmth than the smaller Pulsar sizes, which makes it particularly useful in rooms where a single fitting needs to work harder. It suits an entrance hall, a bathroom with good ceiling height, a bedroom where one well chosen wall light is more considered than a pair, or a sitting room where the scale of the fitting commands the wall. It also works well as the larger anchor in a scheme that uses two different Pulsar sizes together.

N.B:

• Clean brass frames regularly using a soft cloth or duster. A damp cloth may also be used. Make sure the frame is dry before switching it back on. DO NOT use any cleaning agents for brass parts.
• Clean glass globes regularly with a soft dry cloth. Clean only the outside of the globe. For dirtier glass, use a wet cloth first. Grease can be cleaned with a gentle glass cleaner.
• All Schwung fittings are made to order and are therefore non-returnable.
