Thirteen Globes for a Room That Can Take Them

The Odyssey Cluster 13 is the larger of the two Odyssey Cluster chandeliers, suspending thirteen glass globes at varying heights from one circular brass canopy in a full, generous formation. Where the Cluster 9 stays approachable, the Cluster 13 is built for rooms with real scale, spreading wider and hanging lower to fill a genuinely large space.

In Opal Mat Glass

Each of the thirteen globes is soda lime triplex opal glass, acid etched on the outside, so the light spreads softly and evenly across the whole cluster rather than picking out individual bulbs. The result is an ambient, layered glow that reads as one warm mass of light rather than thirteen separate sources.

Choose Your Finish

The canopy and rods are available in Black Gunmetal, Lacquered Burnished Brass or Polished Nickel. Black Gunmetal lets the thirteen opal globes hold all the attention, Lacquered Burnished Brass warms the visible brass between them, and Polished Nickel gives the whole cluster a cooler, more contemporary edge.

How It Works

The Odyssey Cluster 13 takes 13 x E14, 5W LED bulbs, included, at 3000K warm white and around 5850 to 6500 lumens combined. It is dimmable, but only with an electronic dimmer switch, and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The cluster spans approximately 631mm by 560mm at the canopy, and the drop is adjustable from 1267mm to 3300mm. Each globe measures 300mm in height and 100mm in diameter, and the fitting weighs approximately 23kg in total.

Where It Works Best

This is the Odyssey Cluster for a double height hallway, a large dining room, or an open plan living space where the ceiling fitting needs enough presence to hold its own against the architecture around it. Its wide spread and long drop range mean it can be set high as an overall room light or lowered to sit closer over a table.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. According to Schwung, every fitting is made to order in solid brass and mouth blown glass at the Namyslow workshop, and a piece of this size is hung globe by globe, so the finished cluster settles into its own irregular shape rather than a repeated template.
