Six Shades, One Honeycomb

The Odyssey 6 Light Pendant gathers six elongated opal mat glass cylinders into a tight honeycomb cluster around a central brass stem, each shade rising to the same gently domed top as the rest of the Odyssey family. Suspended from a single brass canopy, the whole cluster reads as one sculptural object rather than six separate lights, with a spread of around 31cm across at its widest point.

Choose Your Finish

The frame is available in Black Gunmetal, a dark matte brass suited to bolder, moodier schemes, Lacquered Burnished Brass, which keeps the natural gold warmth of brass under a protective lacquer, and Polished Nickel, a cooler and more reflective finish for contemporary interiors. The opal mat glass shades are identical across all three, so the choice is purely about how the frame reads against your walls and furniture.

How It Works

Takes 6x E14 LED bulbs, 5W each, for a combined output in the region of 2700 to 3000 lumens at 3000K warm white, bulbs not included. The drop is adjustable, giving an overall height of roughly 44.6cm to 134cm from the ceiling plate, so the cluster can sit close to a low ceiling or be lowered further over a taller table. The complete fitting weighs 6.2kg, so we recommend a qualified electrician confirms the ceiling fixing is suitable before installation.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Every Odyssey pendant, including the 6 Light, is assembled to order from solid brass and mouth blown glass at the Namyslow workshop. Schwung describes the honeycomb arrangement as a nod to natural, structural geometry, each glass shade doing the same job of hiding its bulb behind a fully diffusing opal finish.
