The Odyssey 4 Light Pendant arranges four elongated opal mat glass cylinders into a square formation, suspended together from a single brass canopy. At roughly 31.4cm by 27.3cm, its footprint sits between the compact 3 Light and the fuller 6 Light, giving it a rectangular spread that suits a rectangular table rather than a round one.

Choose Your Finish

Available in Black Gunmetal, a dark matte brass for bolder schemes, Lacquered Burnished Brass, which retains the warm gold tone of natural brass under a protective lacquer, and Polished Nickel, a cooler and more reflective option. All four opal mat glass shades stay the same regardless of frame finish.

How It Works

Takes 4x E14 LED bulbs, 5W each, for a combined output of around 1800 to 2000 lumens at 3000K warm white, bulbs not included. The drop is adjustable, giving an overall height of approximately 27.4cm to 117cm from the ceiling plate, so it can sit close to the ceiling in a lower room or be dropped further in a room with more height. The complete fitting weighs 5.4kg.

Where It Works Best

The square footprint and rectangular spread make the 4 Light a natural fit above a rectangular dining table or a generous kitchen counter, where its shape mirrors the shape of the surface below it. It also works well in an open plan kitchen diner, positioned centrally over the dining zone as a clear visual anchor.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Every Odyssey pendant, the 4 Light included, is made to order from solid brass and mouth blown glass. Schwung builds the 3, 4 and 6 light Odyssey pendants from the same individual glass shade, changing only the arrangement and count to produce pendants suited to different table shapes and room sizes.
