Ten Points of Light Around One Brass Centre
The Molecule Spark Round 10 arranges ten glass hemispheres along slender brass arms that radiate out from a central nucleus, forming a tight, spherical burst overhead. It is the more compact sibling in the Spark Round family, scaled to work as a genuine statement piece over a kitchen island or dining table without needing a double height room to carry it off.
In Transparent Glass
In transparent glass, every arm and every brass fixing stays visible through the globes rather than hidden behind them. Light passes straight through with very little diffusion, so the fitting reads as crisp and faceted rather than soft, closer to a cluster of small lanterns than one glowing form. It suits rooms where the fitting itself is meant to be looked at, not just switched on.
Choose Your Finish
The frame is available in Black Gunmetal or Lacquered Burnished Brass. Black Gunmetal keeps the ten transparent globes as the clear focal point, with the dark metal receding into the background. Lacquered Burnished Brass lets the frame itself catch light between the globes, adding warmth to the piece and to the room around it.
How It Works
The chandelier takes 10 x E27, 5W LED bulbs, included, at 2700K warm white and around 4500 to 5000 lumens combined. It is dimmable, but only with an electronic dimmer switch, and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. The drop is adjustable from 285mm to 1184mm on a fixed ceiling, or 387mm to 1286mm under a vaulted one, so it can sit close to the ceiling or be lowered over a table. The fitting spans 1209mm across and weighs around 11kg.
Where It Works Best
At ten arms, this is the size to hang centrally over a kitchen island, a round or square dining table, or in an entrance hall with reasonable ceiling height. Its wide spread and adjustable drop make it easier to place well than a single large pendant, since the light reaches sideways as much as it hangs down.
Made by Schwung
Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. According to Schwung, every fitting leaving its Namyslow workshop is made to order in solid brass and mouth blown glass, and the ten globes here are fitted to the brass frame one arm at a time, a process that means no two chandeliers are built in quite the same order.
