Seven Arms, One Compact Geometric Form

The Molecule 7 gathers seven glass hemispheres around a small brass frame, each arm angled outward in its own direction rather than lined up evenly, so the fitting reads as a tight cluster with real depth rather than a flat ring. It is scaled to work as a chandelier in rooms that can't take the family's larger round pieces.

In Transparent Glass

In transparent glass, the bulb inside each hemisphere stays visible, and light passes through with very little softening, so the chandelier reads as crisp and faceted, closer to seven small lanterns than one glowing shape. It suits a room where the fitting is meant to be examined up close, not just switched on and left to fade into the background.

Choose Your Finish

Available in Black Gunmetal or Lacquered Burnished Brass. Black Gunmetal keeps the seven transparent globes as the clear focus, with the frame receding behind them. Lacquered Burnished Brass lets the brass arms themselves catch the light between the globes, adding warmth to the whole piece.

How It Works

The chandelier takes 7 x E14, 5W LED bulbs, included, at 2700K warm white and around 3150 to 3500 lumens combined, run from a 230V supply. It is dimmable, and the drop is adjustable from approximately 931mm to 1170mm. The fitting spans 764mm across, with each glass hemisphere measuring 120mm, and weighs approximately 11.8kg.

Where It Works Best

Its compact size suits a smaller dining table, a breakfast nook, or a bedroom, anywhere a full sized chandelier would be too much. Because the glass is transparent, it also works well where it will be seen from below or the side at close range, since there is detail in the brass and bulbs to look at rather than just a glowing surface.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. According to Schwung, every fitting leaving its Namyslow workshop is made to order in solid brass and mouth blown glass, with each of the seven arms on this piece assembled and angled by hand.
