Thirteen Globes, Four Sizes
The Schwung Cluster 13 Light Mix chandelier suspends thirteen transparent glass globes across four different diameters from a round brass ceiling plate. Where the standard Cluster 13 repeats a single globe size thirteen times, the Mix version varies the scale throughout, giving the composition a looser, more organic rhythm, as though each globe found its own place rather than being set to a plan.
Four Globe Sizes in Transparent Glass
The thirteen globes break down into three at 350mm, six at 300mm, three at 250mm and one at 200mm, all in clear borosilicate glass that leaves each bulb fully visible. It's a genuinely mixed composition rather than a token variation, the largest globes giving the fitting real physical presence while the smallest picks out detail among them. The drop is adjustable from 1688mm up to a considerable 3200mm, built for rooms with real height to spare.
Choose Your Finish
The Cluster 13 Light Mix is available with its brass ceiling plate in Black Gunmetal, Lacquered Burnished Brass or Polished Nickel. Black Gunmetal keeps the plate dark and recessive against thirteen mixed size globes. Lacquered Burnished Brass gives a warm, traditional brass tone across the plate and drop cables. Polished Nickel adds a cool, reflective surface that catches light between the larger globes.
How It Works
Each of the thirteen globes takes a 1.6W G4 LED bulb, included, giving a warm 2700K glow at around 180 lumens per bulb, approximately 2340 lumens in total. The fitting is dimmable, but only with electronic ELV or trailing edge dimmers. The brass ceiling plate measures a substantial 1125mm in length and 1043mm in width, with a drop adjustable between 1688mm and 3200mm. The complete fitting weighs 37kg, making it the heaviest in this batch of Cluster designs, so ceiling structure needs particular attention before installing. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and carries CE/UL certification with a 2 year warranty.
Where It Works Best
Given its scale, drop range and weight, the Cluster 13 Light Mix is built for genuinely large, tall spaces, a double height atrium, a grand stairwell, or an entrance hall in a period or new build property with ceiling height to match. It is not a fitting for a standard domestic room, but for the right space it becomes the single defining feature.
Made by Schwung
Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Every fitting, including the Cluster, is made to order in solid brass and hand blown glass at the Namyslow workshop. According to Schwung, the Mix versions of its Cluster chandeliers are designed to look assembled rather than engineered, each globe size chosen to sit naturally alongside its neighbours.

Questions People Ask
What does "Mix" mean on this chandelier?
It refers to the thirteen glass globes being spread across four different diameters, 350mm, 300mm, 250mm and 200mm, rather than all matching in size.
How heavy is this fitting and what does that mean for installation?
It weighs 37kg complete, so the ceiling structure should be checked by a qualified electrician before installation to confirm it can support the load.
How much drop does this chandelier need?
Between 1688mm and 3200mm, so it needs a genuinely tall ceiling, this is not a fitting for a standard height room.
