The Schwung Cluster 13 Light chandelier suspends thirteen transparent glass globes, all the same 200mm diameter, from a round brass ceiling plate at varying drop heights. Unlike the Mix version of this design, every globe here is an identical size, so the effect is one of repetition and rhythm rather than mixed scale, a field of matching spheres catching and scattering light across the room.

Thirteen Matching Globes in Transparent Glass

All thirteen globes measure 200mm in diameter, in clear borosilicate glass that leaves each bulb fully visible. With every globe transparent and identical in size, the light from the Cluster 13 scatters in every direction, reflecting off neighbouring globes and casting bright points across walls and ceiling. The drop is adjustable from 737mm up to 2000mm, letting the composition be pulled tighter or spread across a taller space.

Choose Your Finish

The Cluster 13 Light is available with its brass ceiling plate in Black Gunmetal, Lacquered Burnished Brass or Polished Nickel. Black Gunmetal keeps the plate recessive and dark against a field of thirteen glass globes. Lacquered Burnished Brass gives the plate and cables a warm, traditional brass tone. Polished Nickel adds a cooler, more reflective surface that multiplies the light bouncing between the globes.

How It Works

Each of the thirteen globes takes a 1.6W G4 LED bulb, included, giving a warm 2700K glow at around 180 lumens per bulb, approximately 2340 lumens in total, making this one of the brighter fittings in the Schwung range. The fitting is dimmable, but only with electronic ELV or trailing edge dimmers. The brass ceiling plate measures 731mm in length and 660mm in width, with a drop adjustable between 737mm and 2000mm. The complete fitting weighs 18kg. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and carries CE certification with a 2 year warranty.

Where It Works Best

The Cluster 13 Light rewards the largest spaces, a double height entrance hall, a generous dining room, or a stairwell where it can be seen from more than one floor. Its identical globe sizes give it a more ordered, formal presence than the Mix version, making it a natural fit for a symmetrical room or a more traditional interior. Given its 18kg weight, confirm the ceiling structure can take the load before installing.

Made by Schwung

Schwung was founded in 2014 in Namyslow, Poland, by Belgian designer Dominique Sente and Dutch designer Rudi Nijssen. Every fitting, including the Cluster, is made to order in solid brass and hand blown glass at the Namyslow workshop. Schwung offers the Cluster in this uniform 13 globe format alongside a Mix version with varied globe sizes, giving two distinct readings of the same basic composition.
