Six Arms, Endless Angles
The Schwung Babylon 6 Light Flush/Wall Sconce Light fans six arms out from a central marble sphere in a star like arrangement, each arm ending in a pair of angled brass discs and a single bulb.
Marble and Brass Finish Options
It's available in four brass and marble pairings:
- Classic Bronze and Rosso Levanto
- Mahogany Brass and Calacatta Viola
- Tarnished Silver Brass and Calacatta Black
- Vintage Brass and Verde Alpi
Because the central sphere is natural marble, its colour and veining will differ slightly piece to piece.
How It Works
Wall or Ceiling Mounting
Like the rest of the Babylon range, it can be fitted as a wall sconce or a flush ceiling light, so the same fitting suits either application.
Light Output
Six included 4W LED bulbs (around 15W halogen equivalent) combine for 1320 lumens, at a warm 2200 to 3000K colour temperature.
Where It Works Best
Spanning 768mm across, it sits between the compact 4 Light and the larger cluster and linear pieces in the range, making it a genuine feature for a hallway wall, over a dining table or kitchen island, or centred on a bedroom ceiling.
Made By Schwung
Schwung is the studio of Rudi Nijssen, an antiques dealer, and Dominique Sente, a former goldsmith, who design each piece in house and have it produced in Poland from solid brass and mouth blown or cast glass, hand finished before it leaves the workshop.
