A Single Statement in Black and Chrome
This is the Gotham pendant at its most graphic, a bell shaped polished silver frame narrowing into one wide black shade with a pale diffuser glowing beneath it. Rather than the softer brass and cream combination, this version leans into contrast, dark shade against a bright, reflective frame.
Imperial Silver and a Wide Black Shade
The frame is finished in a bright, polished Imperial Silver, close to a chrome look, and the single drum shade is black fabric. Small clear crystal ball accents sit either side where the frame meets the shade ring, catching the light rather than the fabric absorbing all of it. The same pendant shape is also available in Brushed Brass with a cream shade, for a warmer, quieter alternative.
How It Works
Four E27 LED lamps sit behind the diffuser and are not supplied. The pendant is dimmable provided dimmable E27 bulbs are fitted. It carries a Class I electrical rating, meaning an earth connection is required, and as a hardwired ceiling fitting, it should be fitted by a qualified electrician rather than as a DIY job.
Where It Works Best
At 61cm tall and 58.4cm across the shade, with a chain drop adjustable between 69.9cm and 191.8cm, this pendant suits a dining table, kitchen island or a single fitting over a stairwell where you want one confident black shade rather than a cluster of smaller ones. Next to the four shade Gotham chandelier in the same silver finish, this pendant is the more restrained choice, one light source instead of four.
Built On Stained Glass
Quoizel built a strong early reputation on Tiffany style stained glass work, a skill that started with table lamps and was later carried through into chandeliers, pendants and wall fittings across the wider range. Gotham itself is a different, more architectural language of glass, crystal ball accents rather than coloured panels, but it comes from a company whose name has long been tied to glasswork of one kind or another.

Is this bigger or smaller than the Gotham chandelier in silver? Smaller and simpler. The chandelier has four shades on a 77.5cm wide ring, this pendant has one shade on a frame 58.4cm across.
