A Ceiling Rose Made of Roses
Rosecliffe hangs as a rounded dome of amber toned Tiffany glass, ringed at the rim with a leaded border of red, coral and cream roses among green leaves, each flower set with small amber jewel centres. Three pull chains hang beneath the shade, one for each of the three lights inside, so you can run one, two or all three depending on how much light the room needs.
Finish and Glass, Together
This pendant is offered in one combination, an Imperial Bronze finish on the chain and ceiling rose, paired with the floral glass shade shown. The bronze reads dark and slightly matte rather than bright, which sits quietly behind the coloured glass rather than competing with it. As with all leaded glass Tiffany work, expect small natural variations in the exact glass colouring from one shade to the next.
How It Works
Three E27 bulbs are needed and are not supplied, each switched independently by its own pull chain. The lamp will dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted and run from a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is Class I, so the fitting must be earthed, and it carries a 2 year guarantee. As a hardwired ceiling pendant, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
The shade itself is a compact 38.1cm across, and the chain allows a minimum drop of 48.1cm, so it can be hung fairly close to the ceiling in a room with limited height or lowered further over a table. Quoizel lists it for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and stairwells, and the rose motif suits a traditional or period style room better than a plain minimalist space. Its floral glass border sets it apart from the plainer geometric Tiffany shades elsewhere in the Quoizel range.
The Tiffany Glass Quoizel Is Known For
Quoizel built much of its reputation on Tiffany style glasswork, using the copper foil method that Louis Comfort Tiffany himself developed, and extended it from table lamps into pendants, chandeliers and wall lights. The company began in 1930 as a small Manhattan lamp maker under Michael Chaikin, and stayed under family ownership as it grew, first under Chaikin and later under Ira Phillips, who bought the business outright in 1986.

Questions People Ask
How low can it hang? The chain gives a minimum drop of 48.1cm from the ceiling and can be adjusted longer to suit a higher ceiling or a position over a table.

Can I fit this myself? It is a hardwired ceiling pendant, so it should be fitted by a qualified electrician rather than installed as a DIY job.
