Not every wall has room for a big lantern, and that is where this smaller Newbury earns its place. It keeps every detail of the design, the scrolled arm, the hexagonal cap, the curved bevelled glass, just built to a size that suits a narrower porch or a modest front door.

Choosing Your Finish

This one is finished in Polished Brass, shown in the photos as a bright, warm gold with a clean mirror shine across the cap and frame. Clear bevelled glass panels wrap the lower body around the bulb, catching and bending the light rather than just letting it pass straight through. Quoizel also makes this shape in an Aged Copper finish, which is duller and will weather further outdoors, so it is worth deciding early which look suits your house before you order.

How It Works

One E27 LED bulb is needed and is not supplied. It will dim if you choose a dimmable LED bulb. This is a Class I fitting, so it must be properly earthed, and because it is hardwired into the mains we would recommend a qualified electrician carries out the installation.

Where It Works Best

At 33cm tall this is the smallest of the Newbury wall lanterns, shorter and narrower than the medium version in the same range. It suits a modest porch, a cottage doorway, or anywhere a large lantern would look out of proportion, while still giving that same period silhouette on the wall.
