Light Enough for a Pool Table, Warm Enough for a Kitchen
The Inglenook island chandelier takes the same amber and sapphire glasswork as the rest of the range and stretches it into a long rectangular shade, built to run the length of a kitchen island, breakfast bar or games table.
The Valiant Bronze Finish
This SKU is only offered in Valiant Bronze, a dark bronze frame and suspension bar with two link chains. The glass panels repeat a mirrored geometric pattern along the length of the shade, amber and cream fields divided by sapphire blue and deep green banding, with small red and amber accent squares. Being handmade art glass, expect gentle variation in colour and grain from panel to panel.
How It Works
Three E27 lamps run along the underside of the shade, bulbs not supplied. It is Class I, so needs an earth connection, and will dim if you fit dimmable E27 bulbs, though there is no dimmer built into the fitting. At 18kg it is the heaviest fitting in the Inglenook range, so it needs a secure ceiling fixing and installation by a qualified electrician. As a handmade glass piece it may need a short final assembly on arrival, so take care unpacking it.
Where It Works Best
At 120.7cm long and 40.6cm deep, this is built for horizontal spaces rather than a single point like the Inglenook pendant or inverted pendant. Hang it over a kitchen island, a breakfast bar or a pool table, where its long shade throws light along the surface rather than down in a single pool. The two chains adjust the drop from 54.6cm up to 199cm, so it will suit both a standard kitchen ceiling and a taller games room. It also works in a dining room, living room, bedroom or hallway if the space is long rather than round.
Ira Phillips and Family
Quoizel has stayed in the hands of one family for decades. Ira Phillips joined the business in 1964 as Director of Merchandising and Sales, then bought the company outright in 1986, and it remains privately owned and run by the Phillips family today, long after Michael Chaikin's original small lamp company got its start.

Questions People Ask
Is this the same fitting as the Inglenook pendant, just longer? Not quite. It shares the glass style and the three E27 lamps, but the shade is a long rectangle on a two point bar rather than a single pyramid on a central chain, so it suits a run of worktop or table rather than one spot.
Does it come with bulbs? No, you will need three E27 lamps of your own choosing.
Is it heavy to install? Yes, at 18kg it is the heaviest piece in the range, so make sure the ceiling fixing is solid and have a qualified electrician fit it.
