How It Works

Two E27 bulbs sit inside the glass drum on brushed brass lamp holders, held level by a central bar rather than dangling on flex, which is what makes this a semi flush design rather than a full pendant. Bulbs are not supplied, so pick your own to match the mood you want, a warm white LED filament bulb suits the exposed lamp look particularly well. Dimming is possible if you use dimmable bulbs and have a compatible switch fitted. This is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earth connection, and because it is hardwired we would always recommend installation by a qualified electrician.

At 26.8cm high and 31.3cm across, Hollister sits close enough to the ceiling to clear a standard kitchen or dining room without eating into head height, while still leaving the two bulbs and their brass fittings visible through the glass. Is this the same fitting as the polished nickel version? Yes, it is exactly the same shape and size, seeded glass drum and two E27 bulbs, the only difference is the brushed brass finish on the arms, ceiling plate and finial.

Do I need to supply my own bulbs? Yes, the two E27 bulbs are not included, so choose a warm white LED that suits an exposed filament look since the bulbs sit visible through the glass.

Can it be fitted on a sloped or angled ceiling? It is designed as a semi flush fitting for a flat ceiling, so check with an electrician if your ceiling has any pitch before ordering.
