Reading The Finish

This medium Griffin comes in Palladian Bronze with Weathered Brass detailing. The bronze covers the main frame, the curved arms and the ceiling rose, while weathered brass turns up on the lamp holders, the centre stem collar and the ball finial underneath the shade. How It Works

This fitting takes four E27 bulbs, arranged around the centre stem beneath the seeded glass bowl, and bulbs are not included so you can choose your own look. An Edison style filament bulb suits the exposed design best. It is Class I, which means it needs a proper earth connection, and dimming only works if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Because this is a hardwired ceiling fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
