Quintiesse Wynwood 6 Light Chandelier - Urban Bronze

The Wynwood chandelier takes the collection's industrial, vintage inspired hardware and multiplies it across six arms, each one carrying its own opal glass shade. It's the centrepiece of the Wynwood range, built to anchor a room rather than simply light it.

Urban Bronze finish

Finished in Urban Bronze, the steel frame has a deep, weathered tone that keeps the fitting from feeling too bright or too new, even with six shades in view at once. It works well against darker ceilings, exposed beams or brick, and in the kind of high ceilinged room where a chandelier needs real presence to avoid looking lost.

How it works

Each of the six arms takes its own 60W E27 bulb, none of which are supplied. The whole fitting dims if you fit dimmable bulbs throughout; mix in standard bulbs and it will only switch on and off. The drop is adjustable between 91.4cm and 196.1cm, so it can sit closer to the ceiling in a standard room or drop much lower over a table or in a stairwell. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 81.7cm across, this is a fitting for a dining table, a double height hallway or a stairwell with the height to spare, rather than a low ceilinged room. Because the drop adjusts from under a metre to nearly two metres, it's worth checking that range against your ceiling height and the clearance you want above a table or staircase before you order. Quintiesse lists it as suited to living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens and bedrooms with enough height to do it justice.
