The Wimberley 3 Light Pendant brings together an aged metal frame and clear seeded glass shades for a look that sits somewhere between industrial and traditional. Three glass shades hang from a slim steel frame, each one catching and softening the light rather than throwing it in a hard, direct beam, and the adjustable drop means it can be set to suit a kitchen island, a dining table, or a taller room where a longer run of chain is useful.

A weathered brass finish

This version is finished in weathered brass, a warmer, more textured take on metallic pendant lighting than a plain polished surface. The tone has the look of aged, hand worked metal rather than a flat factory sheen, which suits kitchens and dining spaces built around wood, stone, or exposed brick, and works equally well alongside more traditional cabinetry or an industrial edged interior. The seeded glass shades add a subtle handmade texture that softens the brass tone rather than competing with it.

How it works

Each Wimberley pendant takes 3 x E27 LED bulbs, which are not supplied. The fitting is dimmable, but only if dimmable bulbs are fitted, so check this when choosing your bulbs. It is Class I rated, meaning it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The drop is adjustable, letting you set the height of the shades to suit your ceiling and the space beneath.

Where it works best

With a design created for kitchens and dining rooms, the Wimberley works well hung above an island, a run of worktop, or a dining table where a warm, diffused light is wanted rather than a single bright source. Because the drop adjusts between 40.8cm and 137.2cm, it is worth checking this range against your ceiling height and how much clearance you want above the table or island before ordering, particularly if your ceilings are higher than average.
