Quintiesse Vaughan Chandelier Large - Bronze & Gold

The Vaughan Large Chandelier translates the collection's soft, undulating wave form into a genuine centrepiece for grander rooms. Its layered arms curve gently around an indirect LED light source, throwing a warm ambient glow rather than a hard downlight, so the fitting reads as sculpture as much as illumination.

Bronze and painted gold finish

The frame is steel, finished in a combination of bronze and painted gold. The bronze grounds the piece with depth and warmth, while the painted gold picks out the curves of each wave, catching the light differently depending on the angle you view it from. It sits comfortably alongside warm metals, dark timber, and traditional or transitional furniture, without feeling overly ornate.

How it works

Light comes from an integrated LED module rather than a replaceable bulb, rated at 105W and producing 1854 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. Because the LED is integrated, there is nothing to buy or fit separately for the light source itself, though dimming will only work if you pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch, which is not included. This is a Class II, double insulated fitting, so it does not need to be connected to an earth, though we'd still recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician given its size and weight. The drop is adjustable from 45cm to 262.8cm, so the final hanging height is set on site rather than fixed at the factory.

Where it works best

At 85cm in diameter, this is a chandelier for a room with genuine presence: a large dining table, a double height entrance hall, or an open plan living space where you want the fitting to be the focal point rather than a background detail. The adjustable drop makes it easy to bring the light down low over a table or raise it for a higher ceiling. At 19.84kg it's a substantial fitting, so check that your ceiling has a secure, load rated fixing point before installation.
