The smallest fitting in the Valise picture light collection, this cognac leather version keeps the same vintage luggage inspired detailing as its larger siblings in a compact 30.5cm frame. It's built for smaller pieces of art, mirrors or a single feature print, projecting light evenly outward rather than sitting flat against the wall.
Cognac leather and vintage brass
A tan cognac vegan leather wrap covers the steel arm, stitched neatly and edged with vintage brass at the wall plate and diffuser. Even at this smaller scale, the frosted acrylic diffuser spreads the LED's light along the full width of the fixture rather than as a single hot spot. The tan and brass combination suits smaller gallery groupings or a single framed piece above a console or hallway table.
How it works
Light comes from an integrated 10.5W LED module, sized down for this smaller fitting, so again there's no separate bulb to fit or ever replace. Dimming works if the fixture is connected to a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. It's a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician, and the wall mounted arm has a fixed 24.8cm projection.
Where it works best
At just 30.5cm wide, this size is intended for smaller artwork, a modest framed print or a mirror where a larger picture light would look out of proportion. Quintiesse suggests living rooms, dining rooms and hallways as natural settings, and it works particularly well where several smaller pieces are grouped together and each needs its own dedicated light rather than one large fitting trying to cover them all.
