Quintiesse Valise Medium LED Picture Light - Vintage Brass & Cognac Leather

Scaled for a mid sized piece of art, the Valise Medium Picture Light carries the same vintage luggage inspired design as the rest of the range into a more compact footprint, its steel arm wrapped in cognac vegan leather and finished with vintage brass. It projects out from the wall to light a canvas or mirror evenly from above, without needing to be as wide as the larger version.

The arm is wrapped in cognac vegan leather, a tan tone stitched cleanly along the steel frame, with vintage brass at the wall plate and running the edge of the frosted acrylic diffuser. This combination brings warmth to a gallery wall and tends to work well against painted walls in mid or dark tones, where the brass and leather stand out rather than blend in.

How it works

This size uses an integrated 18.5W LED module, again not a bulb you'll ever need to source or swap out. Dimming is available if the fixture is wired into a circuit with a compatible dimmer switch fitted. It's a Class I fitting, which calls for an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician, and being wall mounted it has a fixed 24.8cm projection with no drop to adjust.

At 50.2cm wide, this medium size suits artwork that's a step down from a gallery sized canvas, a mid sized framed print or a mirror above a console table. Quintiesse suggests it for living rooms, dining rooms and hallways, and it's a practical choice where the largest picture light in the range would overwhelm the piece it's meant to highlight.
