Quintiesse Triocent Single Bathroom Pendant / Semi-Flush - Polished Nickel

Part of the Triocent collection, this single light fitting can be hung as a pendant or fitted close to the ceiling as a semi flush, giving you the choice of look without needing two different products. A clear wavy glass globe reveals the visible fixing bolts and frame inside, an exposed, almost industrial detail that keeps the design interesting from every angle rather than relying on the glass alone.

The polished nickel finish

Here the frame and fittings are finished in polished nickel, a cool, bright metal with a crisp reflective sheen that contrasts cleanly against the textured surface of the wavy glass. It reads as more contemporary and pairs well with chrome, glass and cooler toned schemes, though it sits just as comfortably in a traditional bathroom or hallway where a brighter metal is wanted. The polish highlights the industrial hardware detailing rather than softening it, so expect a crisper, more graphic look than a warmer finish would give.

How it works

The fitting takes a single E27 bulb, which you will need to source separately as bulbs are not included. It is dimmable, but only when dimmable bulbs are used, a standard bulb will not respond to a dimmer switch. The drop can be adjusted between 37.6cm and 129cm to suit the height you are hanging it at.

Where it works best

The pendant to semi flush conversion makes this a practical choice where ceiling heights vary, over a landing, in a shower room, or anywhere a lower hanging pendant would sit too close to head height. At 31cm high and 24cm deep, it is compact enough for en suites and smaller bathrooms, while still working as part of a wider lighting scheme in a larger space.
