Look closely at the Thayer 3 light pendant and the detail that stands out is the glass, seeded rather than perfectly clear, so the light it throws has a gentle, slightly textured quality instead of a hard sparkle. It's built on the same four sided lantern frame as the rest of the collection, curved at the edges and finished in Antique Gild.
Seeded glass and the Antique Gild finish
The clear seeded glass panels sit inside an aluminium frame finished in Antique Gild, with ivory candle tubes completing the traditional lantern look. The texture in the glass means shadows and highlights are softened slightly compared with plain glass, which suits spaces where you want warmth over sharpness.
How it works
It takes 3 x E14 LED bulbs, not supplied, and only dims if dimmable bulbs are fitted. The drop adjusts between 61.2cm and 217cm, giving enough range for most ceiling heights and some flexibility over how low it sits above a table. It's a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
At 30.5cm wide and deep, this sits between the collection's smaller and larger pendants, a good fit for a kitchen table, a compact dining space, or a bedroom where you want a characterful centrepiece rather than a huge one. The drop range up to 217cm also makes it workable over a staircase, so measure your ceiling height and preferred clearance against that range before ordering. It's intended for the living room, dining room, and hallway settings the Thayer range is designed around.
