Quintiesse Tallulah 2 Light Wall Light - Lacquered Brass

Tallulah brings a softer, more traditional presence to bathroom lighting, built around gentle curves, ribbed metal cuff details and a stepped oval backplate that reads more like a piece of hardware than a plain light fitting. Etched opal glass diffusers spread the light evenly rather than throwing a hard beam, so it works as flattering, ambient wall light rather than a task light. The Lacquered Brass finish

In Lacquered Brass, the steel frame and backplate take on a warm, golden metal tone with a protective lacquer that keeps the shine even and consistent over time. It leans toward a classic, hotel bathroom feel and pairs naturally with warm stone, cream or pale sage tiling, brass taps and mirror frames, or existing brass door and cabinet hardware, where you want the lighting to match rather than contrast with the rest of the fittings.

How it works

Two G9 fittings per wall light take 3W LED bulbs, sold separately. The circuit will only dim if dimmable G9 bulbs are used, ordinary bulbs will run at full brightness on a dimmer. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it's rated against water splashed from any direction, not just against damp air.

Where it works best

Tallulah stands 37.3cm tall and 12cm wide, projecting 14.5cm off the wall, a compact footprint that suits mounting in pairs flanking a mirror above a basin, or as a single fitting in a smaller cloakroom or ensuite. The IP44 rating covers use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, the zones outside the immediate splash area around a bath or shower, so it's a practical choice anywhere in the room away from direct water contact.

Quintiesse craftsmanship

Quintiesse describes an ongoing effort across its range to reduce waste and increase the use of recycled and recyclable materials in how its lighting is made and packaged. As a premium brand within the Elstead Lighting Group, it also states that finishes like this lacquered brass go through prototyping and batch inspection before a fitting is signed off for release, part of how it aims to keep tone and quality consistent across a pair of wall lights.
