Quintiesse Stinson 4 Light Large Pendant / Semi-Flush - Distressed Brass

Stinson brings a striking industrial silhouette to a traditional shape: an open cage frame in distressed brass, hung with faceted crystal accents that catch the light without over dressing the piece. This is the largest fitting in the Stinson family, built to anchor a room rather than simply light it, and it converts between a hanging pendant and a close to ceiling semi flush fitting depending on where you want to use it.

The distressed brass finish

The frame is finished in distressed brass, a warm, slightly weathered tone that reads as aged rather than shiny new metal. It sits well against darker woods, exposed brick and other worn or reclaimed materials, and pairs naturally with traditional furniture as easily as it does with a more industrial scheme. The crystal droplets threaded through the cage soften the metalwork and add a touch of sparkle without tipping the design into anything overly ornate.

How it works

Stinson takes 4 x E14 LED bulbs, which are not supplied, so you will need to choose your own to suit the fitting and the room. It is dimmable, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs. The drop is adjustable from 49cm up to 216.9cm, which gives a wide amount of leeway when positioning the fitting above a table or in a stairwell. As it converts between pendant and semi flush mounting, check that the wiring and fixing you have suit whichever mounting mode you plan to use before you order.

Where it works best

With a height of 58.1cm and a depth of 40.5cm, this is the large size in the Stinson range, suited to spaces that can take a proper focal point: over a substantial dining table, in a double height hallway, or as the centrepiece of a living room. That generous drop range also makes it a strong choice for stairwells, where you often need extra length to bring the fitting down to a sensible level.
