Quintiesse Slatted Table Lamp - Teak Veneer

The Slatted Table Lamp pairs a warm, natural material with a clean, contemporary shape. A slim teak wood veneer base is built up from fine horizontal slats, giving the lamp a light, textured presence on a sideboard or nightstand, while a tapered ivory drum shade sits above it to soften and spread the light.

Teak veneer finish

The base is finished in a natural teak wood veneer, showing the grain and tone variation you get with real wood rather than a printed or painted effect. It has an understated, organic character that works well against oak, walnut or teak furniture, and equally against darker or painted pieces where it adds a touch of warmth. The ivory polycotton drum shade above it keeps the overall look soft and neutral, so the lamp settles into most colour schemes without competing with them.

How it works

This is a plug in table lamp fitted with a single E27 lamp holder, so it takes a standard screw fit bulb (not supplied). It is compatible with dimmable smart lamps, so if you fit one you can dim the light to suit the time of day, though dimming will only work if the bulb itself is dimmable. The fitting is Class II, so no earth connection is required. Simply plug in, fit your chosen bulb, and switch on.

At 66cm high with a 40cm diameter shade, the Slatted Table Lamp has enough scale to work as a genuine light source rather than a purely decorative accent, while still sitting comfortably on a console table, sideboard or chest of drawers.
