Quintiesse Skye 6 Light Pendant - Heritage Brass

The full six light Skye pendant is the collection's statement piece, a cascading cluster of clear glass globes, each tipped with a slender Heritage Brass ring and hung at a different length for a deliberately asymmetrical, mid century look. It's built to anchor a room rather than sit quietly in it, whether that's above a large dining table, a wide kitchen island, or rising through the void of a stairwell.

The Heritage Brass finish

Each of the six globes carries a Heritage Brass ring and cinching detail, a warm, softly aged gold tone that ties the whole cluster together even though the globes fall at different heights. Multiplied across six lights, the brass reads as a strong, warm accent against the clear glass, and pairs well with warm timber, black metal furniture, or a mix of the two.

How it works

Skye 6 Light takes 6 x E27 LED bulbs, none of which are supplied. It dims only if dimmable bulbs are fitted; standard bulbs will not dim, even on a dimmer circuit. Each globe's drop is set independently using its own Heritage Brass cinching ring, giving the fitting an overall drop range of roughly 169.2cm to 230.2cm. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

This is a large fitting, 146.4cm high and 58.9cm deep, so it needs a room with the ceiling height and floor space to let the cluster spread out properly, a double height dining space, a generous kitchen island, or a stairwell where the varied drop lengths can be appreciated from more than one level. Check the drop range against your ceiling height and desired clearance before ordering, particularly if it's going in above a stairwell.

Quintiesse craftsmanship

Quintiesse states that every fitting like Skye goes through prototyping, batch inspection and quality sign off before release, a process designed to catch issues before a piece with six separately adjustable globes reaches a customer. The brand also describes an ongoing effort to reduce waste and increase its use of recycled and recyclable materials across its ranges.
