Quintiesse Sfera 3 Light Linear Pendant Light - Teak Veneer

The Sfera 3 Light Linear Pendant takes the same offset opal glass globes as the rest of the collection and lines three of them along a natural teak veneer bar, creating a longer feature that suits horizontal spaces rather than a single central drop. It's the family's statement piece, built for tables and counters where you want even, spread out light rather than one bright point.

The teak veneer finish

Each of the three globes sits on a frame finished in natural teak wood veneer, with nickel plated aluminium detailing at the ceiling pan and fittings. As with any natural veneer, grain and colouring will vary slightly across the piece, which is part of what gives it a handcrafted rather than uniform look, and it pairs well with warm wood dining furniture, kitchen cabinetry, and brushed metal tapware.

How it works

This fitting takes 3 x E27 golf ball bulbs, none of which are supplied. Each globe is compatible with dimmable smart lamps, so fit dimmable bulbs across all three if you want the pendant to dim evenly. The drop is adjustable at installation, from around 52.9cm to 302.9cm, and the fitting is Class II and double insulated, meaning it does not require a separate earth connection, though hardwired ceiling installation is still best left to someone comfortable working with mains wiring.

Where it works best

At 85cm wide, this is designed for horizontal runs: kitchen islands, long dining tables, and open plan living and dining spaces where a single pendant would look lost. The room data for this fitting also covers hallways and bedrooms, so it works equally well as a run of light above a landing table or a wide headboard. At 5kg it's a moderate weight fitting, but it's still worth having a secure ceiling fixing point in mind given its 85cm span, and the wide drop range gives you flexibility if you're working with a higher than average ceiling.
