Seraph takes the same idea of a sculptural, wing shaped chandelier and gives it a warmer character in matte gold. The steel frame curves outward in a series of soft linear arms, each carrying integrated LED light along its length, so the fitting reads as a piece of lit sculpture as much as a light source.
Matte gold finish
The matte gold finish takes the edge off a shiny brass look, giving Seraph a softer, warmer character that suits interiors built around warm metals, timber and richer colour palettes. Paired with the white acrylic diffusers running along the frame, the gold reads as a highlight rather than a dominant colour, so it works as a statement piece without overwhelming a room.
How it works
An adjustable drop of between 20cm and 212.4cm means Seraph can be set high and tight to the ceiling or lowered for a more theatrical hang, and it is worth measuring this against your own ceiling height before ordering. Light comes from a 57W integrated LED rated at 1192 lumens and 3000K warm white, with a rated life of 20,000 hours quoted by Quintiesse. As this is an integrated light source rather than a fitted bulb, there is nothing to purchase separately, but the LED itself is not user replaceable. It is dimmable when used with a dimmer switch designed for LED loads, and the Class II electrical construction means it does not need to be earthed.
Where it works best
Quintiesse positions Seraph for living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, hallways and bedrooms, and its 105cm width gives it enough scale to anchor a dining table or run across a kitchen island. The same adjustable drop that suits lower ceilings also makes it a good option for stairwells or tall, open spaces where you want to set the light well below the ceiling line. At 8.57kg, it is worth confirming your fixing point can take the weight securely before installation.
