How it works

Seraph is built around a 57W integrated LED module rated at 1192 lumens in a warm white 3000K colour temperature, with Quintiesse quoting a rated life of 20,000 hours for the light source. Because the LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb, there is nothing to buy or fit separately, though it also means the light source itself cannot be swapped later. The fitting is dimmable, provided it is connected through a dimmer switch compatible with LED loads. It has Class II electrical construction, so it does not require an earthed supply, and the drop is adjustable between 20cm and 212.4cm so the chandelier can be hung close to the ceiling or lower for more dramatic presence.

Where it works best

At 105cm wide, Seraph has the span to sit centrally over a dining table or a kitchen island without looking undersized, and its adjustable drop makes it easy to set the right clearance whether that is a standard living room ceiling or a taller hallway or stairwell void. Quintiesse lists it as suited to living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, hallways and bedrooms, and at 8.57kg it has enough presence that the ceiling fixing point should be checked before installation.
