Quintiesse Saucer 4 Light Large Pendant - Aged Brass

The Saucer 4 Light Large Pendant is the statement version of the Saucer family, a tiered fixture that pairs a central opal glass diffuser with a trio of uplighting bulbs above it. Where the smaller pendants in this range give a single pool of light, this one throws light both down through the glass and up towards the ceiling, giving a room a layered, more dramatic glow.

Aged brass finish

Steel and cased opal glass are finished in aged brass across the whole fixture, from the frame to the tiers above the shade. The finish has a lived in warmth to it rather than a hard shine, so it suits settings where you want brass without it looking too new or too formal, sitting well against dark woods, panelled walls or a bolder paint colour.

How it works

The main opal glass shade is lit by a single E27 lamp, while the tier above holds 3 x E14 lamps that create an uplight effect against the ceiling. None of the bulbs are supplied, and the fixture will only dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted throughout. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The drop is adjustable from around 78.5cm to 169.9cm.

Where it works best

At 63.5cm high and 50.8cm across, this is a genuinely large pendant, suited to a dining table, a double height stairwell or a living room where you want one fixture to anchor the whole space. The wide adjustable drop range is particularly useful in taller rooms or over a stairwell, where getting the clearance right matters more than usual, and the combination of downlight and uplight makes it a strong single centrepiece rather than something you'd need to pair.
