Quintiesse Saucer 1 Light Flush - Aged Brass

The Saucer 1 Light Flush sits close against the ceiling, its shallow opal glass dome held in a steel surround, giving the same retro modern character as the rest of the Saucer range without any hanging drop. It's the choice for rooms where a pendant would sit too low or feel too heavy for the space.

Aged brass finish

The steel surround is finished in aged brass, a warm, softly weathered tone rather than a bright polished one, with the cased opal glass dome sitting flush within it. Because the fixture sits so close to the ceiling, the finish reads mostly along the rim and fixings, giving a neat detail rather than a large expanse of metal.

How it works

It takes 1 x E27 bulb, up to 40W, which is not supplied, and will dim if fitted with dimmable bulbs, though not with standard ones. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. There's no adjustable drop mechanism on this design, as it's built to sit flush against the ceiling.

Where it works best

At 22.9cm high and 36.6cm across, this flush fitting suits rooms with lower ceilings, hallways, landings or any space where a hanging pendant isn't practical, while still giving the living room, dining room or bedroom the same mid century look as the rest of the Saucer collection.
