Quintiesse Samara Table Lamp - Smoke

This standard size Samara table lamp wears a smoky charcoal faux silk shade over the collection's familiar clear textured glass base and polished nickel steel column, standing 71.5cm tall, an easy scale for a bedside table or console.

The smoke finish

The hand made shade's charcoal grey tone gives the lamp a slightly more grown up, moodier character than the paler colours in the range, while the clear glass beneath keeps it from feeling too dark or heavy. It suits bedrooms and living spaces built around darker or more tonal colour schemes.

How it works

It takes a single E27 LED bulb, not supplied, and the 4 way switch lets the shade and the glass base work as independent light sources, so you can use one, the other, or both together. Dimming only works if a dimmable LED bulb is fitted. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 71.5cm and 6kg, it sits comfortably on a bedside table without needing much clearance, and it also works well on a hallway console or a smaller living room side table where a warmer, moodier glow is preferred to a bright white light.
