Quintiesse Samara Table Lamp - Plum

In the standard size, Samara's plum faux silk shade sits above the collection's clear textured glass base and polished nickel steel column, a 71.5cm tall lamp that brings a deep, jewel toned accent to a bedside table or smaller console without the scale of the large version.

The plum finish

The hand made shade's rich aubergine tone gives this size of Samara real character, and because the glass base beneath stays clear, the lamp does not feel as heavy as the colour alone might suggest. It is a good option for a bedroom or reading nook built around darker, richer colours.

How it works

A single E27 LED bulb, not supplied, lights the lamp, and the 4 way switch gives independent control over the shade and the glass base, so you can pick a softer glow from the glass alone or bring the shade in for more light. Dimming only works if a dimmable LED bulb is fitted. It is a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 71.5cm and 6kg, it suits a bedside table well, giving enough height for reading light without crowding the surface, and it also works as a smaller accent lamp on a hallway console or living room side table where a stronger colour note is welcome.
