Quintiesse Samara Large Table Lamp - Clear

Scaled up for rooms that need a bit more presence, the large Samara table lamp stretches its clear textured glass column and hand made faux silk shade to 78.7cm, so it holds its own on a wide console or a substantial side table rather than getting lost. A 4 way switch still lets the glass base and the shade work as independent light sources.

The clear glass finish

The taller column shows off the texture in the clear glass more clearly, and the neutral faux silk shade above it keeps the overall look calm rather than showy. Polished nickel detailing on the steel frame ties the two materials together, and because the colour story is entirely neutral, this size works as a genuine statement lamp without ever fighting with the rest of the room.

How it works

This large version outputs around 620Lm from a single E27 LED bulb, which is not supplied, in a warm white 3000K, and the 4 way switch controls the shade and the glass base separately so you can vary the mood. Dimming only works if a dimmable LED bulb is fitted. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be wired by a qualified electrician.

At 78.7cm tall and 7.9kg, this is the size to reach for when a standard table lamp would look undersized, a long sideboard in the dining room, a substantial console in the hallway, or a floor level table beside a sofa in the living room. Its extra height also means it throws light further up a wall than the smaller Samara, useful in rooms with higher ceilings.
