Quintiesse Roux 3 Light Pendant / Semi-Flush - Brushed Nickel

The Roux 3 light pendant pairs a slender steel frame with three shades of clear ribbed glass, giving off a soft, textured glow that feels vintage inspired without tipping into pastiche. It hangs on an adjustable drop or can be fitted close to the ceiling as a semi flush light, so it settles comfortably into rooms with either generous or more modest head height.

The brushed nickel finish

This version is finished in brushed nickel, a cool toned metal with a soft, brushed texture rather than a high shine. It reads quietly rather than announcing itself, which makes it easy to place alongside chrome taps and handles, grey or white schemes, and pared back interiors where the ribbed glass is left to do the visual work. The fluting on each shade catches light differently depending on the angle you view it from, so the fitting looks subtly different by day and by lamplight.

How it works

The pendant takes 3 x E27 bulbs, which are not supplied, so you can choose the tone and brightness that suits the room. It is dimmable, but only if dimmable bulbs are fitted. The drop is adjustable between roughly 50.2cm and 154.4cm, and the fitting can also be hung close to the ceiling in its semi flush configuration. It's supplied complete with the steel frame and ribbed glass shades, ready to wire in.

Where it works best

At around 40.6cm across, it suits a dining table, a kitchen island, or a bedroom without overwhelming the space, and it works equally well as a statement piece in a living room or hallway. The adjustable drop is particularly useful over stairs, where you can set the hang to clear the treads safely while keeping the fitting at a comfortable viewing height. Because it weighs 8.3kg, do check that your ceiling or wall has a secure, load rated fixing point before installation.
