The Rivamar Small Outdoor Wall Light takes the same coastal lantern styling and brings it down to a neater, more adaptable scale. It is an easy choice where you want the character of a period style wall lantern without the visual weight of a larger fitting, and it works particularly well fitted in pairs either side of a doorway.
Black and brushed gold finish
A black aluminium and steel frame is paired with a brushed gold cage and clear ribbed glass, giving the lantern a crisp, nautical edge. The ribbed texture in the glass softens the light and adds visual interest even when the fitting is switched off, and the black and gold combination sits well against most brick, render or timber exteriors.
How it works
It's designed for a single E27 bulb, which is not included, so the choice of warmth and output is left to you. The fitting is compatible with dimmable bulbs, though dimming only works if a dimmable bulb is fitted. It carries a Class I electrical rating, meaning it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Standing 33.5cm high with an 18.4cm projection, the Small Rivamar suits narrower piers, porch surrounds and front doors where a pair of matching lanterns either side gives a balanced, symmetrical look. It's equally at home on garden walls, side entrances or anywhere a compact coastal style light is needed without overwhelming the space.
