Quintiesse Porter Single Small Wall Lantern - Aged Zinc

Porter Small is the compact end of the range, sized for spots where the Large or Medium lanterns would feel too heavy handed. It keeps the same fine rivet detailing and hanger loop that define the Porter look, just scaled down to suit narrower porches, cottage doorways and tighter gaps between window and frame.

The Aged Zinc finish

The lantern body is aluminium with clear glass glazing, finished in Aged Zinc for a soft, weathered grey tone with a subtle brushed texture. It has the appearance of naturally aged metal, which suits cottage and period style brickwork particularly well, and also works cleanly against more contemporary render or timber.

How it works

Porter Small takes 1 x E27 LED bulb, which is not included, so a bulb will need to be sourced separately. It's dimmable, but only when dimmable bulbs are fitted. At just 16.3cm projection it sits close to the wall, which makes it a good option for narrow spaces either side of a door or gate. Only the fitting is included in the box.

Where it works best

Standing at 33.6cm tall and weighing 2.8kg, this is the lightest and most compact Porter size, well suited to cottage porches, narrow entrances, boot room doors, and spaced runs along a garden wall or fence where a run of matching lanterns is more effective than one large fitting. Its IP44 rating means it copes well with rain and outdoor exposure, whether mounted under a porch roof or directly onto an exposed wall.

Quintiesse craftsmanship

Quintiesse states that every design goes through prototyping, batch inspection and quality sign off before release, a process intended to keep smaller detailed pieces like this one consistent from one lantern to the next. The brand also describes an ongoing effort to reduce waste and increase its use of recycled and recyclable materials in production.
