Quintiesse Poppy Single Bathroom Wall Light - Heritage Brass

The Poppy single wall light pairs a warm Heritage Brass frame with a clear seeded glass sphere, its bubbled texture catching the light from within. Compact and single armed, it brings a touch of mid century character to spaces where a full multi arm fitting would be too much, while still carrying the ribbed brass detailing and stepped backplate that define the wider Poppy family.

The Heritage Brass finish

Heritage Brass gives the steel frame a warm, aged gold tone that reads as softly patinated rather than mirror bright. It sits well against warm stone, wood panelling and painted walls in muted greens or terracottas, and pairs naturally with brushed or antique brass taps and fittings already in a bathroom.

How it works

Poppy runs on a single E27 LED bulb, which is not supplied, so you can choose the tone and brightness that suits the room. Dimming is possible, but only if the bulb you fit is itself dimmable. The fitting carries an IP44 rating, meaning it is protected against splashes from any direction.

Where it works best

At 23.7cm high, 13cm wide and 1kg, this is the smallest fitting in the Poppy range, well suited to a single sconce beside a mirror, a cloakroom, or anywhere wall space is tight. Because it is IP44 rated, it belongs in zones 2 and 3 of a bathroom, the areas away from the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower. Check the zone requirements for your own layout before installing.

Quintiesse describes its finishes, Heritage Brass among them, as drawing on artisan techniques such as hand applied patinas, giving each fitting a slightly individual character rather than a uniform factory sheen.
