Quintiesse Nuvola Medium Ceiling / Wall Light - Matte Black

Measuring 432mm across and sitting just 92mm from the wall or ceiling, the Nuvola Medium is built for rooms that need generous, even light without a fitting that hangs down or takes up visual space. A single frosted glass disc diffuses the light broadly and softly, making it as comfortable to look at as it is to be lit by.

Matte black finish

Here the arm and trim are finished in matte black, giving the fitting a quieter, more graphic presence against the pale glow of the glass. It reads well in contemporary and Scandinavian style interiors, and works as a grounding note in rooms with lighter walls or pale wood floors.

How it works

An integrated 18W LED module provides around 800 lumens of warm white 3000K light, built into the fitting itself rather than fitted with a separate replaceable bulb. Dimming is supported, so long as it is run through a compatible dimmer switch. Nuvola can be mounted to a ceiling or a wall, so it is worth checking beforehand that the wiring and fixing at your chosen spot suit the mounting mode you intend to use. This is a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its size makes the Medium especially useful in hallways and corridors where a run of these can provide consistent light along a wall, as well as in kitchens, dining rooms, and living rooms where broader coverage is wanted. The low 92mm depth also suits bedrooms with lower ceilings.
