Quintiesse Nula 12 Light Pendant - Shell White & Luxe Gold

Nula's 12 light pendant is the most theatrical piece in the collection, a cluster of glowing forms that reads as a modern chandelier rather than a conventional ceiling light. A dense, chalk white shell wraps each shade, while the interior is lined in a gleaming luxe gold that catches and throws the light outward once switched on, giving the fitting a completely different character lit versus unlit.

Each shade is finished in a matte chalk white on the outside, giving the fitting a soft, sculptural presence in daylight, with a polished gold interior that provides the drama after dark. It is a finish that sits comfortably against both pale, contemporary schemes and richer, more traditional dining rooms, and pairs naturally with brass or gold hardware elsewhere in the room.

How it works

The fitting takes 12 x E14 LED bulbs, which are not supplied. It is dimmable, but only if dimmable bulbs are fitted. This is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The drop is adjustable between 50cm and 370cm, giving real flexibility over the finished hanging height.

Where it works best

With a width and depth of 83.5cm and a generous adjustable drop, this is a fitting designed to make a statement over a large dining table, in a double height hallway, or descending a stairwell where the extended drop range can be put to proper use. Because it weighs 11kg, check that your ceiling has a secure, load rated fixing point before installation.
