Quintiesse Moonlit LED Mini Pendant - Matte Black

The Quintiesse Moonlit LED Mini Pendant is a small scale fitting designed to be seen up close, its cluster of acrylic orbs each holding a cubic zirconia chip that catches the light and scatters it in tiny glints, like moonlight caught in glass. Its compact size means it works just as well hung on its own as it does grouped in a row, and in matte black it takes on a more graphic, contemporary character.

The matte black finish

Here the aluminium and iron frame is finished in a deep matte black, a flat, non reflective tone that throws the focus onto the sparkle of the zirconia chips rather than the metalwork itself. It's a natural match for black tapware, dark cabinetry and industrial or Scandinavian inspired interiors, and it tends to read as a more understated, tonal choice than a metallic finish.

How it works

The light source is a single integrated LED (20.9W, 2131 lumens, 3000K warm white) built into the fitting itself, so there's nothing to buy or fit separately, though bear in mind this pendant does not offer dimming. As a Class I fitting it must be connected to an earthed mains supply and wired in by a qualified electrician. Drop is adjustable from 27.3cm up to 180cm, letting you set the finished height to suit the room.

Where it works best

Its scale suits kitchens and dining rooms where several can be spaced along an island or table for a repeated, sculptural effect, rather than relying on one large statement fitting. Because the drop adjusts up to 180cm, it also has enough range for higher ceilings, so measure your own ceiling height and intended clearance before deciding where to hang it.
