Quintiesse Market Square 3 Light Wall Light - Oil Rubbed Bronze

The Market Square 3 Light Wall Light is the largest fitting in this traditional lantern collection, with three arms of clear seeded glass gathered under an oil rubbed bronze frame. It has the presence of an old fashioned street lamp, the kind of nostalgic silhouette that suits a grand entrance or a covered porch where a single light fitting needs to do a bit more work.

The oil rubbed bronze finish

The frame is cast in aluminium and finished in oil rubbed bronze, a warm, deep brown bronze tone with the kind of depth and variation you get from a hand applied patina rather than a flat paint coat. Quintiesse describes this kind of finishing as an artisan process, and it is designed to weather gracefully outdoors. The clear seeded glass panels have a gentle, uneven texture that softens the light and adds a period character, working well against brick, stone or painted render.

How it works

This fitting takes 3 x E14 bulbs (not supplied), so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits your space. It is dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs, though it will not dim correctly with standard non dimmable lamps. It is Class I, so it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The IP44 rating means it is protected against splashing water from any direction, which is exactly what an exterior wall light needs to cope with.

At 63.8cm high with a 16.5cm projection, this is a statement piece rather than a discreet one, so it suits porches, porticos, entrance ways and larger exterior walls where it can be seen and appreciated from the street or driveway.
