Quintiesse Marilyn Single Wall Light - Polished Nickel

The Marilyn single wall light brings Quintiesse's playful pairing of polished nickel and matte black to a compact wall mounted design. A curved clear seeded glass globe sits against a slim linear arm, a small scale nod to the collection's wider mix of retro curves and modern lines.

This piece is finished in polished nickel, its bright reflective surface catching light across the steel frame and standing in deliberate contrast to the matte black detailing at the fitting points. The clear seeded glass shade adds texture without hiding the bulb completely, so the fitting reads as sculptural even when unlit. It works well alongside chrome, glass and mixed metal accessories, and suits both traditional and more pared back modern interiors.

How it works

The fitting takes a single E27 bulb, which is not supplied. Fit a dimmable LED if you want to use it with a dimmer switch, as dimming only works when dimmable bulbs are fitted. It is wired to Class I electrical standards, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 39.2cm high with a 24.2cm projection, this is a fitting for flanking a mirror, hallway or stairwell wall, or for adding low level ambient light either side of a bed. Quintiesse lists it as suited to living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, and its modest 3.5kg weight makes it straightforward to mount on most standard wall constructions.
