Quintiesse Lucian 1 Light Wall Light - Urban Bronze

Lucian takes its silhouette from antique wall lighting, then updates it with an organically curved backplate and a custom shaped stem rather than a straight period reproduction. A single alabaster bowl shade sits at the end, softening the light rather than exposing the bulb.

The Urban Bronze finish

Here the steel backplate and stem are finished in Urban Bronze, a warm, darker metal tone that grounds the pale alabaster shade above it. Because alabaster is a natural stone, its veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so no two Lucian lights will look quite the same.

How it works

It takes a single E14 bulb, up to 60W (LED recommended, not supplied), and only dims if you fit a dimmable bulb. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed connection, which a qualified electrician will confirm at installation.

Where it works best

Its compact size (28cm high, 13.7cm projection from the wall) suits it to smaller, more considered spots: either side of a bed, flanking a mirror or fireplace, or spaced along a hallway or dining room wall where you want soft, layered light rather than a single bright source.
